GENERAL DATA

GENERAL DATA

In this field the hydrological data must be filled in for input and elaboration.

Hydrological Data

Description

Insert a short description of the examined basin.

Basin name

Insert basin's name.

Basin's position

Choose, between the two options the basin's position.

Permeable basin's position

Fill in the %, of the basin's surface that is made of permeable terrains.

Rainfall

Specify in mm, the rain's medium annual height. Generally, rains' medium annual height refers to the calculated data for ten years in a row, calculating the annual medium heights' average.

Annual medium temperature

Insert, in centrigradi, the annual medium temperature. Even for the minimum period parameter ten years data is considered.

Monthly min.-max. temperatures

Insert, separated by comas, the minimum temperature average from the medium hydrological year (ten years)  and the maximum temperature average for the same period.

Terrain's medium permeability

Fill in, in the specified measurement unit, the terrain's medium permeability that makes up the hydrological basin (basin's projection below ground level).

Specified medium permeability

Fill in, in the specified measurement unit, the terrain's medium permeability that makes up the hydrological basin (basins that spring at ground level).

Critical rain within 24 h

Fill in, in mm, the rain's height obtained from rain's laws with 24 period (Rain's critical height - see Definitions)

Computation Options

Concentration period

The user must select an author, from those available, for calculating the concentration time (see Definitions).

Medium basin's altitude

For this data evaluation, the user can choose between two computation options: the ipso graphical curve (see Definitions) or quota average.

High flood flow

The high flood's flow estimation (for every determined overfill period) is performed by the program using the Analytical Methods or TCEV.  In input faze the user must choose between two options, with the possibility to change them in a successive faze.

Overfill periods

In the grid are filled in the overfill periods for which the elaboration must be performed. To each overfill period can be added a short description and a color that can be used by the program to displace the eventual high flood's line  between the sections along the water course.
