Cursor Tolerance

This variable determines the size of the circle surrounding the cursor pointer, within which the program recognizes a point on the drawing as having been identified. Enlarging this circle makes it easier to select a point but more difficult to differentiate between two lying in proximity to each other. Diminishing the circle renders it more selective but it becomes more demanding to identify a point.
