Interpretation by the GRM method determines average velocities in the layers and the thickness of each refractor below the geophone. This thickness represents the minimum depth of the geophone therefore the morphology of the refractor is defined by the envelope of semicircles.
The centers of the circumferences useful for determining the morphology of the refractors coincide with the real geophones only when XY = 0. For XY = d (d is the actual distance between the geophones) the positions G, intermediate between X and Y, are in correspondence with the intermediate points of the real geophones; for XY = 2d, the positions G, are as a number, less than real geophones, but are positioned in correspondence of some physical sensors, etc. |
Through the options Drawing menu some properties of the diagram can be changed and a custom text can be added.
