In the explicit method, the BC's conditions are incorporated through elimination of the lines and columns associated to the degree of freedoms blocked. This means that the equation components associated with these nodes are not required in the solution and information is given to the assembly routine that prevents these components from ever being assembled into the final system. Thus only the non-zero nodal values are solved for.
